Bars and dating sites suck for many reasons:

1. Oversaturation of interest...makes everyone come off as creepy
2. Dating sites will have chicks that can't get guys in real life
3. Bars will have chicks that can't get sober guys...or have diseases
4. Competition is high because of reason #1, can't just be yourself

The best place to meet IMO is on common grounds (i.e normal everyday life)

i think its a good and bad...id much rather meet someone IRL because you can tell instantly the attraction/chemistry level... online you can have a good convo but not so much in person.... plus i dont like surprises.... i hear what hes saying though... once youre done with school and into the real world... its hard to meet people unless you network alot but what do you do when youre one of the only single people in your circle? it sucks...

In school is definitely the easiest, but there's alway life after school....i.e. at the gym, through friends, at work, etc.

thats kind of why i pushed myself into joining the coed gym im at now.... i dont commute to work- that was the no. 1 meeting spot for me.... so i drive to work, work out at an all female gym and all my friends are wifed up... i guess maybe the pizza delivery guy that comes to my door will be hot..

although i did have hot cops knock on my door earlier today... maybe i am onto something

My 2 cents: The right person usually comes when you'd least expect it...when you go out looking for them, a lot of times you'll force a situation/relationship that wasn't meant to be.

The key though is to not go out looking for them, but to live a little (i.e. go out and do the things you like to do...staying home all the time is no good)

oh i hear you.... its pretty ironic how it all works out but if you strategically place yourself in certain situations you can also allow for that to happen.... im not saying theyre going to be the love of your life but hey mr right now works

i dnt think ive ever met a bf *out*.... ive always met em going to work or the car/bike meet or somewhere random like a carwash... hehe

I would be more optimistic though...you'd surprised at how many girls look down on younger guys (i.e. stereotype them as not being mature, etc.)
