DME Software Versions

I picked up Bimmergeeks Protool and was looking at the modules in my car and was wondering if it has the latest DME software, it's a 2011 N51.

Looks like it was last updated in June 2013 and is at ZB# 8619590.

Does anyone have a version newer than that?

I've seen some references to BMW releasing updated software over the years but I'm not sure when they stopped supporting the N51/N52.

Okay, so I've slowly researched this and discovered Bimmerlabs, what a cool resource.

I created a project on there and they offer three factory tunes for the N51's MSV80.1 DME. The ZB# of my car's file matches one of the three available on Bimmerlabs. I'm not sure if Bimmerlabs has access to all of the factory tunes ever released, I sent them a note asking about that, but if so it would seem my car's DME is up to date.

Head over to the N52 section on E90post, you'll have a lot more people to talk to

No problem. I've been running Hassmachine's tune for over a year now and love his work (he's who runs Bimmerlabs). Busy man, but if you can wrangle him you can learn a lot. If he's not around, talk to rjahl.
