WeissLicht LED H8's??
I just saw these on Bimmian, they look pretty promising and they're only $150. Has anyone here installed these yet??

We have been developing these LED angel eyes with Bimmian for quite some time. This will be the new offering from both Bimmian and Jlevi SW and is an LED replacement that is designed to upgrade the color to a xenon white, true blue or true red. We are running these on Jon's E92 and have had great success so far. If you are local, feel free to stop by and check them out in person

My buddy got these from Bimmian.. the build of the actual product looks simliar to RD but are a little less "white" according to him.. compared to my RD.. they look good for the price. Oh ya my buddy owns an M3.

They are actually both solid products, we carry both the RD and WeissLicht but will be transitioning to WL very soon. In comparing the two products, we were happier with the color of the WL product over the RD setup which is why Jon is running them.
RD makes an excellent product, we continue to use them for a variety of lighting needs and would not hesitate to carry their product in the future. Each has its merits, not a bad choice either way IMO. |

With my RD's and the ones they are offering side by side.. they are simliar but the RD's are more white (according to my friend). But I think it depends on what everyone is looking for plus the price is very simliar now for these 2 products.

OK Just one picture to hold you guys for now.
The Weisslicht and RD are roughly the same price, and very similar in design, however one has a better color than the other. Weisslicht is 6000K (right side)... I am running it on my own car with great results. Also, in regards to patents, Xtec, Weisslicht, and RacingDash all use almost identical "Y" bulb design, so it's something of a moot point from what I'm told. JL |
