Thanks for the reply. Which bulbs did you go with and how long have they been in?

Hi guys!
I am between choosing the best H8 halogen bulb for my BMW. From one side there are the bulbs from PIAA, which are quite expensive with 5000 K color available here http://www.ebay.pl/itm/PIAA-5000K-ST...4AAOSwv9hW6pO0 and from the other side Philips Diamond Vision also 5000K but a bit cheaper, available for example here: http://www.ebay.pl/itm/PHILIPS-H8-50...MAAOSw9r1WC2~E If it comes to PIAA bulbs I could be sure they will be genuine from PIAA, but about this Philips I can't cause most likely it will be the fake. Does anybody know where could I get an original Philips bulbs? I can't find them on ebay on the other auctions than on the chinese ones which are not original. What would you choice, the PIAA or Philips bulbs (both they have 5000K)? Appreciate any replies. Many thanks. Brgds, Bartosz Last edited by bartolini9; 03-24-2016 at 06:46 AM.. |

I have the Philips for my angel eyes (good), and I believe the PIAA for my turning lights (great). I've had nothing but good experience with PIAA products. My current fogs are yellow PIAA, and they're significantly brighter than the same bulb/wavelength from Hoen that I had in before. And they haven't burned out yet, like the Hoens did.

One of my H8 Philips 5000K diamond vision just brunt out. Got them in 2014 so not bad for 2 years, but I think I'm going to switch back to stock.

After 2 years one of my PIAA yellows burned out. Have a new set on the way now, will keep the old one on hand.
Overall, happy enough with them for 2 years. Worth noting I was running them with the factory voltage option turned all the way up.

Has anyone tried the Philips LED H8 in their 1 series?
