Anyone remove their Clear Protective Wrap?

I had my 1M Hood, front bumper and quarter panels wrapped back in 2011 when I purchased the car. Work was done at highly competent shop in Fremont CA called Premier Protective Films International. I'm at the point where I think I want to remove it. Has anyone gone down this road? I'm hoping there shouldn't be any major concerns with removal as long as the same competent group does the work?

When they take the wrap off, the car will no longer be BSM, it will be VO.

Hope this helps!

I had 3M put on shortly after purchase and was getting cloudy; took it off myself; just used wife's hair dryer on low setting and went slow.
