128i vs 135i exhausts

Hey everybody... this may have been written about in another thread but i couldn't seem to find it.. sorry if that is...

I was wondering what the difference was between the 135i exhaust and 128i exhaust and why we cant use the after market mufflers the 135i's use. For example i put on an axleback (on my 128i) that should be on a 135i would it be a loss of power due to lack of back pressure?

I was running no muffler for a couple of months on my 128 and it sounded amazing. However, it felt as if i was losing a TON of power low end. Any insight would be much appreciated.

Thanks
1ntense..

The reason you cannot use the 135 exhaust is because of exhaust manifold placement. You may be able to use the axle-back. I'd re-install my exhaust to return the lose of power and the MPG's...
