Hotchkis adjustable endlinks - Avoid
Ordered a pair of these since my oem endlinks clunk and are overstretched at my ride height.
They came the night before my track day after sitting at a Fedex location a half hour away for 3 business days.. I called- they said I couldn't pick it up. Brain dead. First of all- the nut you use to hold the ball joint bolt from spinning is completely round with two flat sides (so you can only grab it with a wrench at two orientations). It is also spacer thin and doesn't appear to be the same size on all sides??? One side was a 16.. the other a 14mm..... wtf Installed the passenger side, torqued down the nut to strut. Handed threaded on the driver side nut onto the bolt through strut, starts to tighten, then goes loose. The BOLT treads stripped. It was not cross threaded, repeat, handed threaded, and I was tightening to factory torque spec. At this point it was around 10:30pm and the car was sitting outside, I did not want to break out a dremel so we had to buy a nut cracker tool which barely fits into the space around the nut because of the brake line bracket. 30 minute job turned into 4 hours, sleep deprived for my track day, almost ruined my plans. Don't buy this junk. I'll probably get a set from HPA and so should you. /rant
