Alternatives to Cool Carbon pads

I've had several sets of Cool Carbon pads on my 09 128 for about 5 years. No major issues really they are a bit weak when cold and I get tired of having to routinely sweep them to get the best performance out of them.

Just looking for low dust street/performance options. No track.
Thanks.

EBC Red's are meeting those criteria perfectly for me- very low dust and great feel on the street with my aggressive driving style, even when cold.

I was pleasantly surprised with how good the EBC Reds were on my wife's X5. I assume they'll be good for the 1 as well. Just a touch less initial bite, but you get used to that.

Thanks for the recommendation--could you provide some insight on the pros/cons of each?

I'm running Cool Carbons right now and for me, they have been a huge mistake. Right now I'm tempted to just go back to stock pads, but I'm curious what other options are out there for daily/spirited use.

Would also like some more details and comparisons to other pads. Seen you recommend these two a few times now. Thanks.
