If it is an M6, it definitely would fool me. If that was next to me at the lights, I'd say it was a decorated 630i ...boy, would I be in for a surprise..

I think is really is an M6. I remember seeing a picture in the recent issue of Roundel where they show the difference between the differential cooling fins on the M cars vs. the non-M cars.
Sure there are many non-M cars updated with body kits to look like M cars, but I doubt they would go through the trouble of updating the differential, too. Either way, I think they did a tasteful job with this car. They addressed my major issue with the M6, the wheels. The stock M6 wheels, in my opinion, always looked cheap.

Yeah it's a M6, but look at this thread:
