N52 with bad rings

So the question is do I rebuild or swap to another motor

N54
M52 turbo
S52 turbo
S54

What are your thoughts. I have a 2008 528i clean body clean interior clean title in hand.

So I have n52 with bad rings in an 08 528i automatic

What the better route.

Fix/replace piston rings

Swap to n54

Or kick it old school with turbo m52 build.

Figured I'd provide more detail since noone replied
