If you want high resale value in TX buy a truck LOL. Happy to charge more if you like ;-) I was rear ended at a traffic light by someone who stopped short. Minimal damage (only rear bumper replaced) I had the front bumper resprayed at the same time. I was given a clean car FAX at the time I bought it. I love the car its simply time for a new project. Plan to find and restore a late 80s Porsche 944 :-)

Dang, ship that thing to Cali and sell it. I had an 1985.5 944 for a while. Great handling but a real pain to work on and a few things to watch out for. Most of them don't have functioning AC anymore and it is a pain to get good parts to fix it. I could never seem to get it fixed and the engine would constantly blow in hot air. Not warm air but hot air. In addition, due to the areo of the car, air does not come in when you put the windows down. I would need to pull over and get out of my car to cool off on long trips in the middle of the summer. It got so hot inside that car that I melted the plastic bottle cap on a sunscreen bottle that was sitting in the car. I have never been in a car as hot as that 944 was and I read plenty of posts from others that also could not seem to fix the AC.
Some 944s also had a secondary alarm that was activated by a second key slot on the rear fender near the driver door which immobilized the car. Porsche did not keep key codes for those alarm keys, so you can not have new keys made if you lose the key you cannot bypass the alarm. When I bought my 944, only one key was left and I lost that when I was robbed. It ended up being a giant headache to replace that alarm as I had to find the entire alarm unit at a junk yard with a key for it and pop out windows and a lot of the interior to replace it. If you only have one key for that alarm, have a copy made right away. Also you will want to make sure you have decent tools. Everything is crammed in there and hard to access. If I remember right, I rounded a few bolts off working on mine and wished I had better tools.

Great looking car, amazing price for whoever gets this deal! Out of curiosity, what made you choose the Monomax? And how did you like them? I'm still on stock springs/shocks and looking for a sub $1200 kit.

Thanks for that. Thats good to hear as field all the low ball offers I've never done coil overs before so I can't really compare to others. I too was looking at keeping the cost down as this is not my primary car. I have no complaints about the ride quality but I do like a somewhat stiff ride. By no means is it rough. It defiantly works on a daily.
