Still working this out....

I'm graduating from college in a year and can't decide by after then will I want to go ahead and pull the trigger on a Camaro V8, or bust ass @ work and wait a little longer to buy a 135i coupe? A real dilema if you're a young performance car nut who's parents are NOT footing the bill. A dilema indeed.

I'd say look harder for options -- some nice performance cars ca be had used for under $20K or even under $15K. Porsches, BMWs, etc...

So now we're on some elitist B.S.??? Maybe what they say about the BMW owner pool is true????? Look, a car nut likes cars not because of the badge up front or the $ value, but because of what the cars offer in the way of tangibles. Intangibles don't hurt either but that's not the point.

Wow, this got heated fast. This is the internet, have a thicker skin first off.

Second, IMHO, Camaro and a 135 are in two different categories. It depends on what you are looking for.

Camaro owners are statistically more likely to experience road rage, so I'd say the Camaro is for you. Dude, take a deap breath...

Wait it out....If you can....I have a feeling that if you really want the 135 and dont get it you will be kicking yourself everytime you see one on the street.

Thicker skin? Please, being an ass is being ass, period. I just put a simple thought out there for some replies, because this is a BMW forum doesn't give people the right to be jerk-offs just because they have a fancy ass car or are capable of buying one. So much for the "tough love" speech.

Seriously, you went off on your second post in this thread. He made a comment, you went off the handle. CHILL

He was making a recommendation, not talking down to you. So I'll repeat, grow a thicker skin.

Hold on there everyone....lets stop slinging mud for a second.
Deutsch........I think that it is a reasonable assumption that cost was an issue as you would have to "bust ass" to buy the 135 and that "your parents are not footing the bill".
The response guiding you to less expensive cars that may fit your sporting needs is not unreasonable and ,I'm sure, was meant as a helpful suggestion.
We are all here to be helpful...not hurtful..........RIGHT ?
