Awesome. There's actually someone on here that sells them for $150 ish I think. Maybe less? I'm gonna buy them soon. Not a huge fan of the push pull.

Sorry it was $199 from euro speed I believe. It's plug and play if you already have paddles.

Adam,
Thanks for the information on the M3 paddle shifters. I may consider this mod for my car. Is that a 1M steering wheel on your car?

They are pretty easy to find on the M3Post marketplace. Last edited by Adam135; 10-02-2013 at 03:41 PM.. |

Thanks for the information. I just purchased a set of M3 DCT paddles from Eurospeed in the Commercial Sales section of the forum. Can't wait to get them installed!

Adam,
Once you remove the steering wheel, do you have to remove the steering wheel trim in order to remove the old paddles and install the new ones? Thanks.

Found this video too. It is for changing from M3 to extended M3 paddles, but it shows the basic process of removing the steering wheel, steering wheel trim and paddles and reinstalling everything.

Let me know how it goes. I will do this in the future. Maybe even change into an M3 wheel instead.

Yes, but that is the easy part Well, the whole thing is easy. Only takes 5 or 10 mins if you take your time.

Thanks! I hope it is that easy. I'm planning to switch out the paddles this evening.

Installed my M3 paddles tonight. Took me about a half hour start to finish. Took my time and tried to make sure I followed the steps in the video. The biggest issue I had was trying to get the air bag released. The right side was easy. The left side took me about five minutes of fiddling around to get it to release. I finally pushed in on the airbag while I pushed the screwdriver up and it popped loose. Everything else came apart just like in the video.
Putting it all back together was easy. And based on my brief experience with them the M3 paddles are awesome and very easy to use. No more push-pull.
