This car is Monaco blue

That has to be the darkest blue EVER!

The shade of blue in those Monaco Blue 335 photos is certainly in line with the virtually-black Monaco Blue paint sample in the brochure. I inadvertently swapped the names above - I much prefer the flavour of Midnight Blue found in c4r_dr1v3r's Photoshop below over the very-dark Z4 image:

Where is the Inka and the Golf? I'd really like more options for colors than blue, red, black, white, silver, green, and shades of gray.n Opps, forgot tan.

Here a few pics to give you an idea what Le Mans Blue looks like on a 1er (130i M-Sport) I test drove last March:

Thanks for the shots of the hatch - did Le Mans Blue look significantly lighter in direct sunlight?

Thanks for the LeMans Blue shots of the 1-hatch. That 3-er in the first pic on the thread looks like Montego Blue, which is actually my favorite. It'd take either color in the new 135i though.

I'm going to guess that midnight blue is darker...for sure one of the best paint colors BMW ever came up with...& usually found in the "individual line" on various models including the Z4.

Here's another incredible color and definitely not for the faint-hearted. It's called "Ruby Black"
and I think this is an M6 that it's on. I've heard that there were some issues about how "soft" the paint was/is and that it marred easily.

That looks almost identical to Mazda’s Black Cherry. Very nice color in sunlight but almost black otherwise. The Lemans blue looks really good but even with the wheels if it’s going to be $1500 I’d pass. If red interior is offered I’m probably going to opt for that. I’ve seen it in the 335 and M3 and just love it. It does limit the exterior colors you can choose I think. Black, white, gray, and silver look good with red interior IMO (Probably Alpine White/Red/Black trim). If I get a 135 and order it I may go with Green/Terra/Poplar wood just to be different from all the black, silver, and gray ones out there. I’d like to see the breakdown on color choice from BMW but 90% of the BMW’s I see are either Black, Silver, or Gray (and about 70% of those are black).

As you can see the pics are taken on a cloudy day. The paint will look a bit lighter under direct sunlight.

The very same car can also be found under this thread (roofspoiler as shown in my pictures is installed later on):

furtheron in this thread the same colour is shown at all kinds of weathertype: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=114

Thanks brummelenj! There are enough photos in those threads to give a real sense of the colour under all conditions - even indoors under fluorescent lights!
