Getting ready to buy a 2012 135i Coupe Test drove it, it's badass.
58k miles on it.

Test drive was like this

I noticed a couple of things: the rear lights are pre-LCI, and LCI happened in 2012, so those lights look like 2011. You're in Australia so maybe it happened different there.

Also, that exhaust sounds like that car has PPK because of the pops and crackles, maybe even the BMW Performance exhaust as well. What color are the exhaust tips? Stock are black chrome.

Love the Alpine White. Classic BMW color. What color is the interior? If it is Coral Red that would be the ultimate color combo imo.

Ha! That's funny. Fooled me. Thought that was your video.

Well, post a video if you like when you get your own car.

Good Luck.

Got the car, love it. Anyone got any good tips or links to videos to figure this thing out? It has the idrive nav system/stereo/menu system.

It looks exactly like the one in the video above.

I'll post some pics soon.

So the rear tires are wider than the front tires? On the car I have, they appear to be. With that being said, no rotating tires? Also, I need a spare wheel\tire. How much is that?

Stock size wheels are 18x7.5 front and 18x8.5 rear. Stock size tires are 215/40R18 front and 245/35R18 rear. OE tires are runflats, so no spare. If the car is still equipped with runflats you should change them, they are hard and uncomfortable.

They're not, the previous owner mentioned having runflats on it, and how it felt.

Not sure about the previous owner, but I’ve got a can of fix-a-flat and a portable air compressor.

Search in the section that discusses new/replacement battery and informing the car that it has a new battery / yes, it needs to be updated in the settings so the car knows how to charge it correctly

I am not a mechanic, and I am new to buying a car like this. I've done some research and such. Thank you for your help.

Trying to learn as much as possible now, as to not be a deer in headlights later, sort of speak.

Carly is a good option for coding different options in your car as well as registering battery etc. The only downside is it’s an annual subscription. I switched to Bimmecode as it’s a one time buy.

It is a good idea to follow anything by Dackelone. He was a great man and a great source of information for the 1 series.
