From how I'm reading it....it looks more like 60 days?!?! 30 days for production & another 30 days for delivery! Please say it ain't so!

I backed you guys up the whole time but the last response is really starting to make think twice...
Is no attitude at all. Trust me. Everybody that knows me personally knows that I have the biggest patience and it takes a lot to get an attitude from me. It must be the context since you are reading it and not hearing it which gives you a much better perspective of my tone.

I did provide an update "Right now, the factory JUST got back from their Chinese New Years so I`m waiting for their feedback regarding the samples completion/delivery."

Factory replied last night and they are giving me an update tonight.

I understand everybody's point completely. I, personally, prefer that you pick up the phone, send us an email, contact us via MSN, AIM, Ichat, etc and get in touch with us DIRECTLY when you are interested in an specific update. You can even send us a Private Message. Posting on the thread is not the best solution.

Remember, on this thread it is 30+ of you communicating with one single person, while I`m communicating with 30+ individual people. A lot gets lost. Posts get unanswered. Unanswered questions might be several pages back and by the time we check we can only see so far and there could be several dozen new posts and it is very hard to keep track. If there is anything specific you`ll like to know, an email could get you the right answer, within a few hours.

I promise I`ll try my best to provide a weekly update even when there is nothing to update.

For specific questions please email me at sales@alufelgenwheels.com

So I won't forget!

Chinese rims?

I didn't know I was buying Chinese rims...you are in America and Alufelgen is a German name....bad assumption on my part to think these rims were being quality made in the states or Germany. With all the crap being made in China, seems that everything I ever bought breaks before the warranty is even out and its a total hassle to get replaced. All the shoddy workmanship, lead in children toys, chemicals in baby formula...not the most confidence inspiring thought. One pothole and what...busted rims and no replacement until I send you my rim for analysis.....

In fact I wouldn't have done this GB had I know that. With all our manufacturing plants moving to China, American jobs being lost and the fact that China is becoming a huge military superpower...a portion of everything we buy in America that is "made in China" eventually goes to building up their military....and funding our future war.

Truly a bummer as I loved the look of these rims.

I'm out, refund please....

PM sent.

Wow, that would really make me feel great about the quality of these wheels!

Let's see, some good Chinese wheel manufacturers are............
Hot Wheels :/

But seriously, I was under the impression that they were manufactured in the USA. Should we be concerned about this?

For what it's worth I've had my Alufelgen CS7 CSL wheels for about 1 year and the quality is great, I couldn't really ask for much more. They look just as good as the day they were delivered. I expect these SF-71's to be no different. I'll try and post some pics up over the weekend.

I think you would be VERY surprised (I know I was) by how many wheels are being made in China, Taiwan, etc now a days... If I am not mistaken American Racing makes many wheels in china, VMR wheels are from Taiwan, Breyton makes some of their wheels in china, Enkei makes wheels in china, Moda wheels china...list goes on and on.

Yeah you have to get into the higher end wheels like Volk, DPE, iForged, etc. to get away from Chinese made wheels.

Dude you sound like you just got brainwashed by the BBC or something. Chill. As much as I wished this rims were made in japan or states, I've never heard anything bad coming from those that have bought the CS7s. O ye of little faith

Agreed, I don't care where they're made either as long as they're of high quality. I want an ETA if we're not getting the rims 90 days after the GB closed date. If there are issues, that's fine but be upfront with the issues, communicate what those issues are and then adjust your delivery date to your customers. Everyone on this GB wants an delivery ETA.

I'll email, PM, and post this in order to make sure I'm communicating the way you want it. What's amazing is that WE'RE the customer, shouldn't you be the one with the responsibility to communicate with your paying customers when there's a chance you might not be able to meet your agreed on delivery date?

Honestly how many people are running Alufelgen stuff? I haven't heard of their rims falling apart or blowing up or anything. I think if it was a problem we would see a lot more about it.
