135M ZHP or 68M on 135i M?
Just picked up my new-to-me 2008 135i M in SGM. I'm looking for a winter wheel package ASAP. Can someone tell me if either of these wheels will fit the 135i M-sport?
1. Staggered: Style 135 M ZHP 8x18 FR, 8.5x18RR offset 47 2. Square: Style 68 M parallel double spoke 17x7.5 offset 35 (with 225/45/17 rubber) Just thought I'd see if these may work before ordering a new package. Lots of searching here and i'm still not sure; any help is appreciated. Last edited by jarviscochrane; 11-14-2010 at 10:08 AM.. |

The wheel/tire size comparer is your friend.

The M68 wheels fit, but not in the above offset (35mm) which was specific to E46 M3s.
Their E46 330ci offset (41mm front, 52mm rear I believe) fit perfectly on the 1-series. I ran them on my last 135i. |

In using the tire compare link above it looks like the ZHPs will fit with careful rubber selection, but may not be the best option for winters. I think I prefer a 17" set up for snow. I'll report back on the 68s... JC |

Style 68's are now mounted without any issues. These are from a e46 330ci and are 7.5ET41 Front and 8.5ET50 rear. Thank you Scott for confirming fit.
Full spec is available here. I have mounted fresh Blizzak LM-60 225/45/17 on all 4 corners. Although I can't rotate due to the staggered rims I will be able to move the rears to the front with a remount. Fit is very good - no rubbing. The fronts stick out about .5" more then the stock 215/18 and the rears are about .5" further inward compared to the stock summer 245/18. |
