What's the best equipment to carry when you are stuck on the side of a road, one wheel spinning on ice and the other one burrying a hole lol. except for a shovel

I just bought some pads to put under the tires if I get stuck. They are like those green 3M fiber scrubbing pads but much thicker. I put them in my truck since I drive it in worse snow conditions than the 135i. Luckily I haven’t had to use them yet. They were $15 at Costco.

All you need is an LSD + good non-RF winter tires (such as Wredestein).
No need to mention avoid 18'' rims.
Having a full tank helps as well.

I can tell that with my LSD + passenger + luggage, my traction was better than FWD cars.

ya i assume with a LSD its better, but i don't have 4k to spare.

and its my third season with my pirelli sottozero Run Flat, next year ill probably buy blizzaks or dunlop 3d.

All this doesn't help when your like I was last night. Doing 3 mph down a slight hill And turn into a drive way only to slide sideways into a snowbank...
