Will these tires fit on stock 1er sport wheels?

Hey guys,

I want to put Conti DWS on my 1er Vert stock sport wheels.

Will a 225-40-18 tire fit around the 7.5 inch wide front stock sport wheel?

Will a 255-35-18 tire fit around the 8.5 inch wide rear stock Sport wheel?

Thanks!

Yep. Those fit just fine with any tire

I run those sizes in a Pilot Sport PS2 in the summers. And they are the usual size for people with non OEM tires.

Actually, I see on tirerack that DWS comes in a 215x40x18, so I can do those for the fronts, and I imagine that a 255x35x18 would be fine on the 8.5 inch rears

You think I should go 215 in the front or 225? Going 255 in rear

That wouldnt be the best. It creates a lot of understeer. 225/40 is better

The tires are fantastic tho. They have a lot more grip than I expected them too. but I meant to ask do you live off of a gravel road or driveway? I had to pick a lot of stones out of the tread gaps. No big deal and no damage just a bit time consuming.

Oh....really? Sorry! I have a driveway that has stones in the cement and some have come loose. Or, maybe they came from the road when I took them off last winter...don't know.

But you sure that a 7.5 inch front wheel can handle a 225?

Oh my gosh!! I forgot that! Seriously! Now that the tires are gone, it's been a year since i purchased them. That is too funny.
