Agressive wheels and tires setting?

Anyone running front 18x8 et40 235/40r18 or even 245/40r18? Rear 18x9 et45 265/35r18? Any rubbing with stock sport suspension? Any pictures?

I have run my BBS 18x8 ET40 track wheels from my E36M3 front and rear with BFG R1 245/40/18s. With stock Msport suspension there was slight rubbing on full compression in the fronts. with >-1.5 degrees of front camber there were no issues.

The 18x9 ET 45 with 265/35 will get some rubbing on a stock suspension. Would need at least rolled rear fenders and then would still likely have issues with passengers in the rear or over large bumps. With an ET45, 255 is about the best you can do and you would still want to roll the fenders.

Fronts will be fine and the rears will be fine but the rear tires are too aggressive. You'll need at least a 245, 255 would be pushing it depending on tire manufacturer.

Many of us are running similar offsets but usually using 225 fronts and 245 or 255 rears but most are lowered also. On the stock suspension you would have a better chance of using tires that wide but probably only tire brands that run small such as Falkens or Toyos.

My specs are listed below and my rears pretty much never rub since I removed my backseat. I probably could run 235front and 265rear as long as I use Toyos. Btw, I had a set of rear 245 Hankooks before my 255 Toyos and the Hankooks rubbed. It's very tire specific when you go super aggressive. And really if it fits it may be because that brand of tire is actually not as wide even though it's listed wider.
