Weds Sports Full CF Wheel

Found this on www.carbonfibergear.com.

When it comes to wheels i change my mind alot and like other wheels more & more and its making me go crazy!

Do u think this wheel will be too much, or rice on a AW 1er that has CF on the exterior ( Tii CF kit )?

Quote:
A Japanese company by the name of Weds Sport has come up with the first full carbon fiber wheel. They unveiled the wheels with what they call their Dry Carbon Wheel Project at the last Tokyo Auto Salon show.
One wheel weighs in at just 2.76kg, which works out to be 6.08475844 pounds. Interested in getting a set of these for your car? Expect to pay around $10,000-$12,000 for the set. While it sounds expensive, you can easily spend $8,000+ on custom three-piece forged wheels from a company like HRE.

Anyone here read Japanese to translate the above pic?

They also have this design, forged aluminum wheel surrounding, Cf center. This of course must be cheaper.

yes very cool. A little over the top too. Like said above the i dont think the strength properties of CF go to well for road applications.

o
ver
kill.
carbon fiber, while nice looking, is horrendously tacky when overdone.

I guess they're OK.
I had a set on my Gremlin, but they just didn't really do it for me.
