FBO 91oct dyno results: 395hp/469tq
Dynoed my 135i because I'm going to try the MHD flash and wanted to compare the before and after. Currently running the old Vishnu Procede v3 on Map 2 which is auto-tuning. Very happy with the results, especially the AFRs.
395.66 rwhp / 469.05 rwtq 91 octane, full bolt on, no meth. Mods in signature. Will post the dyno results with the MHD in a couple weeks.

I can't wait to see the dyno numbers on MHD. For this platform on facebook (& some here) everyone dick rides MHD I bet the numbers are barely better if at all using a ots map.

Lol yea I'm just interested to see what all the hype is about. I care about linear power delivery more than peak power since it's primary use is track days. Worst case scenario I'll keep the tablet in the car to monitor pressures and temps.

Dang that never crossed my mind. I guess I was thinking the ETS intercooler piping replaced the turbo outlet piping but now I see my error. Well, guess I get to do another mod!

I think you'll be very happy with the MHD maps stacked with the PROcede. Are you sure you have an auto tuning firmware? I know that was not always available on some of the firmware versions. Regardless it gives you complete control. The v7 maps on MHD won't come close to making 400 whp on the 91 maps because they are not as aggressive as the auto tuning with PROcede. The 95 octane maps are and would allow you to run a much more aggress mapping if you have the ability to add ethanol as an octane booster. Best bet is to try the maps to see which works best with the fuel quality. Who knows, your 91 might be as good as some of the 93 I have seen on the North East Coast. Here are the dyno graphs of v7 95 octane maps from my shop car which at the time was completely stock with nothing more than a CP and stg2 LPFP. |

Yes I do have the auto tuning firmware. I was planning on putting the Procede on map 0 (stock/pass through map) and then flashing with MHD. Do you recommend that I leave the Procede active and flash with MHD? I see there are settings in MHD for JB4 cars; should I use this same setting for the Procede?

Hey awesome numbers. I'm also running an auto-tune Procede and i've no intention of replacing it with MDH or whatever.

This is because the procede uses the same canbus network as MHD does to communicate with the car's DME. By using map 0, the Procede will be passive and not interfere with the MHD flashing process over the canbus. Do not use the JB4 option.....simply flash the MHD map of your choice. If you are going to stack the procede with MHD as a backend flash, you will need to make changes to the procede tables so that it is not competing with the MHD tables. If you simply want to run the MHD flash, just leave the procede in map 0. |

awesome numbers man. those inlets on putting in work! Im really hoping to make the same numbers but on 93 octane with no inlets. car feels hella strong so we will see what it puts down in a week or so when I dyno it. any guesses what my car will make? my set up is
-MHD v7.1 stage 2+ 93 octane only -BMR 3.5" exhaust -VRSF catless downpipes -VRSF 7" HD intercooler -VRSF chargepipe -HKS bov -BMS DCI -valves fully cleaned from carbon deposit 200-300 miles ago. I hit peak of 18.2-18.5 lbs of boost and car feels great. I think I should have 400whp or more pretty comfortably but i'm not sure lol

I just swapped over to MHD v10 from my Jb4 w/MDH BEF. Stopped by the exact same dyno you went to (I recognized the wall, and was like "hey! thats my dyno shop"). I have roughly the same mods sans inlets and broke 400. |
