Thumbs up Walnut Blasting? - Detroit Area 48309

I've done a little bit of searching but haven't found any dealer that offer intake valve walnut blasting as a service. If anyone knows where I can get this service please let me know.

I was having some other issues fixed at the time that required the removal of the intake (fuel pressure sensor/switch) so I had it done at that time. The dealer quoted me 6 hours, it was about $750 to have the intake valves blasted. Seemed reasonable for dealer service and it gave me a piece of mind knowing that if anything went wrong due to the service I would be covered.

My overall impressions are quite positive. The idle quality has vastly improved, very little stumbling once warm. The acceleration is a bit smoother and makes for a better driving experience. If anyone has roughly 50k miles on their N54 I highly recommend getting it done. At idle it barely feels like it's running...sooo smooth.

Side Note: they gave me a 428i xDrive for a loaner and I can say with the intake valve clean it's just as smooth at idle as the N26. I know they're different engines but still....
