Very nice. Did a quick engine bay as well a few days ago.

Shame that the N52 and N54 looked better under the hood... Our look like 4 bangers.

Looks great! Did you spray and wipe down or rinse using a hose or pressure washer? Any special precautions you used to keep water out of the electric bits and harnesses?

I sprayed and wiped down. I'm in a high-rise and don't have access to a hose. Or a driveway. So I just pop the hood and spot clean w/ the Simple Green Motorsports spray and a few rags. I've seen videos of guys spaying down the engine bay w/ a hose and Simple Green, but I've never done that.

You should try the cockpit premium under the hood. Cleans really well and I think the anti-static properties do a good job at helping prevent dirt from sticking in the future. Expensive use for it, but mine mostly is used now for under the hood and it does a great job on the stainless steel pedals and nav screen, too.

Had the Whiteline subframe inserts installed yesterday. Took less than an hour. Great mod, especially if you've ditched the RFTs. You can read my brief review here:

Car looks great. Blackline tail lights look so good on a white car. All the black details look good on white. The spoiler completes the look. Always wondered how that spoiler would look on my car. Maybe in BMW carbon fiber? Don't know if I could pull it off - don't know if it would look right on me.
