JB4 log. Car feels choppy in power.

Log is a 3rd gear pull map 5. You can feel the hesitation in any map

I'm no pro, but that looks like crap and you'll have to add your fuel parameters to the graph.

You have to list your mods in order to help evaluate what's going on. Also, how many miles on your spark plugs? How long has the JB4 been in?

Just from personal experience and getting help on n54tech, I can tell you that a stock car will really only run well on map 1 and you'll have to play with menu item 11 through the steering wheel controls to get the choppiness tamed.

The car has 73500 miles on it.

Plugs were done 20k ago I believe.

Looks like to me that your getting your timing pulled at the end of the second run to 6k RPM, so it could be from knocking (too aggressive of tune) or a misfire (maintenance issues) the DME is picking up.

I would return to MAP 0 and see if you get some clean runs, take the tune out of the picture. If you confirm that you have no issues on stock map then it is related to the tune.

I have not used the JB 4 in a long time, but MAP 5 is pretty aggressive and requires downpipes, right? Your car is not prepared to handle an aggressive tune. The charge pipe and axle back do nothing but add sound and address a weak spot, but don't really support adding more power. You need downpipes or FMCI or E85 or Meth injection to really turn up the power.

I will try some stock pulls later. I usually run map one and I still feel the hesitation. I will post some logs later. I plan on getting downpipes and a fmic in the near future. what do you run now instead of the jb4?
