"the 1 Series has an 'M' button on the steering wheel. Press it and you can feel the car instantly perk up as the throttle sharpens and the engine and gearbox change to a more aggressive mapping."

Where do they get this stuff?? How the hell would that button affect a manual transmission?

Looks like a win for the 1M.

"The 1M, on the other hand, has it all: power, pace and space. If you can only buy one car, buy the BMW. If you can afford two, have the Cayman R as a weekend toy"

No thanks. I'll take the 1M and a Caterham superlight. If I had $150k to spend on two cars, I probably would not be getting a cockster for track.

Yeah, that actually makes me angry about the car. Why no fifth seatbelt, and why those stupid trays between the rear seats?
