I have come across a used 128i BMWPE, and would love to know if would fit on my 135i.
The part numbers are different, but they look the same, cant help wondering ...

135i BMWPE --> 18102208806
128i BMWPE --> 18100443577

The 35 comes with a different mid pipe. 128 does not. It is just a muffler

Haha. I'm thrilled. I showed my girlfriend what the PE sounds like in comparison to the stock exhaust and she's impressed. She just started laughing and going woah. That is just sick! I'm so ready for this! haha

from what I've read they are different (so its not a direct fit) but since the 135i has its own BMWPE why not stick with it. It is a little pricier albeit but it still sounds nice (and with a 135i you have LOTS of exhaust options) and above all the flow rates for both exhausts are different.

They aren't the same. Stop being cheap and get the one made for your car.

I cannot justify spending $1000 on a muffler just to get modest power gains and nicer noise. I came across a 128i BMWPE for $250, so was a little more tempted at that price point. I will pass on the opportunity if flow rates are different, and end up with a more restricted muffler ...

135i version is $850-$900. All are a complete waste of money if you are looking for power. Buying an exhaust not designed for your car is even more silly.

you won't see any gains from changing any section on the exhaust other than downpipes on a 135i, or headers on a 128i. You will however, gain a beautiful exhaust note that you will constantly press the skinny pedal to hear by changing to the perf exhaust.. resulting in worse gas mileage

P.S. Where'd you find one for $250? haha

For those who are curious, I found the $250 deal on for the second hand 128i BMWPE in a local ad site.

I offer 4 bags of Lays Ketchup potato chips (Because apparently in America you don't have ketchup chips), a BMWCCA sticker, a pound of grade AAA Canadian Beef, and poutine (Look it up if you don't know what this is).

People always look at me like I'm nuts when I dip chips in ketchup.
