Swapped Intake Ton of codes??? Help!
135i e82 n55
I swapped out my intake and now I am throwing a ton of codes. I'm not sure if the battery accidentally connected or what, but I am pulling it back apart tomorrow to try to figure it out. Anyone have any ideas? Vehicle will Crank, but not start. Code attached in photo. |

Need more info on what you did.
Do you mean you changed your air intake or your entire intake manifold? From the plethora of codes it looks like a manifold. If so I would work my way backwards if none of these codes were present prior to the work performed. Often it's a simple thing that was overlooked or a harness clipped onto the wrong sensor. |

Yeah, more than likely. I remember when I did my HPFP and removed the intake and throttle body for the first time, I couldn't figure out where the hell one of the connectors was supposed to be plugged in, turn out it was for the throttle body. I'm sure that would have probably caused tons of codes just like this.

Also, the two connectors on the forward end of the DME are interchangeable if you apply a little too much pressure. They are keyed differently but it's easy to break that part off with too much force. I accidentally did this and luckily caught it before reconnecting the battery. Not sure if it would have fried anything, but the DME would have been very upset.
