Fortunately for you I have some friends who work in the Customs Processing facility in New York.

They tell me that right after they finish inspecting your car they'll released it to the BMW Distribution Center.

Actually it cleared customs a while ago (you can see that on the ship's website).
You must have very sloooooow friends that work at the BMW Processing Center.

LOL. You guys are killing me. I got some good news today. The Florida Highway is pulling into Baltimore right now and will be unloading my car in Charleston in 3 more days.

The Performance Center got in touch with me yesterday and I was able to get my delivery date moved up to March 27th from April 13th. So excited. Only 3 more weeks.

I got word that my dealer received the car yesterday afternoon. My dealership is only 25 miles away from the port. Hopefully I will be picking up today, If they get the title for the car.

Hopefully yours finds its way to the dealership today as well.

I just emailed him this morning asking if there was a way to check on it.
North Haven is only probably 2-2.5 hours from NYC so it really should be here by now. Plus its suppoed to be 65 degrees tomorrow....

Yeah my CA was and is great and passed along all updates, like he was checking the status every minute of the day like I was. He also emailed me when the car got to the port and said they expected to receive it on the 5th or 6th... and they did. I'm very satisfied with the level of service I received.

In my case I have to tell my CA where the car is no the other way around.
I am traveling on business next week so I really want it this week.

So, here we are folks live dockside at Point Hueneme. The crowd is milling around in hushed anticipation. The ramp was lowered 15 minutes ago and we are.... Wait a minute! Two cars are coming down the ramp. It's a little hard to see, but yes, it looks like MDPutnam's LeMans Blue Convertable is coming down followed by MPower's black coupe! A cheer comes up from the crowd!

The press is snapping photos, we'll try to get a copy uploaded and....
