1. Front is about 3k in parts
2. Body work is between 3-7k depending on where you live (labor is expensive)
3. paint is about 2k
4. Rear end parts, new OEM will be less than 2k but I got my muffler and diffuser used
5. battery tray conversion is about $600 in parts (needed to run the 1M exhaust)

Body work is the most expensive part as you can see. There's 3 different approaches to that, new inner and outer wheelhouse, complete OEM 1M quarter panels, or a riveted body kit like the rocketbunny FRS.

I didn't know that riveted body kits existed for our cars. Has anybody seen an example?

The Rocketbunny FRS is not for everybody but very nicely done for what it is.

There's a rumor of one in the works but I'll let that company give out info when they decide to.

UPDATE!

Never had a chance to put my FMIC install up:

Fitment was GREAT! Looks clean, good, and mean in black. I installed it by removing the front bumper and front part of the undershield and wiggled it in.

Pieces you won't need after install:

Another angle:

Team WAGNER FTW!

I also got a package in the mail today!

Got my JB4! I might be the first to go from Cobb to JB4.

This conversion is not for the feint of heart or wallet. It's a labor of love for sure. But then again, anyone can buy a 1m. It's takes a true enthusiast to build one!

By the way, big thanks to Venom and Ilikebmxbikes. True inspirations. And yes, those are oem 1m quarter panels and yes, this will be a DIY conversion.
