Increase Speed
How do you increase your speed? Of course this depends upon the situation but generally how do you do it? Pushing the peddle slowly going down to the kick point? Slamming it down to the kick point? Slamming it down to the floor? And, of course, this does depend upon controlling the rear wheel spin. Just curious.

Use them all depending on the scenario. Although many find the kick down a nuisance I actually use it as a tool so as not to downshift too much when not necessary.
One other thing I do is typically blip the downshift on the paddle so as not to wait for the car to think it needs to downshift. (not everyone has paddles though). |
