What happen to iCarbon?

Hi all,
I in the Ohio US area and have a E88 2011 135i,I need a hood and was wondering what happen to iCarbon. What other after market companies make quality fitting hoods? I am debating carbon M style or painting M style and would really like an iCarbon.

Anyone have experience duraflex or other brands, recommendations.

background my son drove the car and the hood came up. I considered replacing stock paint match but then start looking after market M style .

Why did the steel hood release and open at speed?

The hood was opened from changing air filter. My son approached the car from the back and did not notice the hood was not closed all the way.

I am considering a carbon fiber m style or maybe I should do a stock painted so not fitment issues. I hear iCarbon was great fitment but seems like they are no longer in business?
