You are right, it is not a 1M, even the interior gives that away, the 1M does not have the additional button configuration below the stereo headunit.

The 1M won't be the price it is if it had the s65 in it.

So it's basically a supercharged M3 with 4" taken out of the wheelbase. And for god sake paint the trunk!

Is this a 1M? Or a 135i made to look like a 1M? I didn't realize 1M's could come with chrome-line trim, doesn't seem very "M" like...

Plus that interior is too Rolls Royce, it doesn't go with the cars style...

Well, it's sad to say, but these will probably carry rediculous price tags, and be most likely garaged most of their lives and not put to good use.

There was an egyptian company that did this to a 118d and it seems like it turned out pretty well. I'd spend the money on that, if it was reasonable.

DCT and the blue (not a 1m color option) front strut towers give it away.

Where are you getting those weights from?

2 turbos, ic piping and ic adds a lot of weight.. Add a sizeable supercharger, piping and intercooler and you'll see a much MUCH larger gap in weight.

202kg sounds incredibly light for the size of the engine (and 2 more pistons) when made out of the same materials
various official releases that were posted here, google, and wiki. they are accurate but you're more then welcomed to prove me wrong. you have to keep in mind that the s65 is a small v8 and the n54 is a twin turbo inline 6. the weights stated didn't include any weight from the supercharger kit.

impressive demo car,

worst interior colors and design on this forum, exterior color and wheel are okay-ish, but prefer their 1M equivalents.

Would have taken those seats and sunroof as factory options!

WOW but lets see some times on ring, that massive HP with a car that is pretty much had a square wheel base is not gonna end well.

Going to be a $150k 1-series...

Floor mats will last 1 day... white - really?

Cool look, though - boy racer meets Bentley.

Doesn't have the 1Ms fixed rear head rests either!

The only parts they've used are bumpers and wings! Not sure if tests enough to call it a 1M?

it definitely is an "older" 1 series (not a facelift model)....the pre facelift light switch, the heated seat buttons next to the pdc, the pdc at the front, the mirrors, the chrome line....

I wouldn't have called it a 1M if I were gpower but I guess most people will belive it....

Thanks for the clarification, I guess other countries might prefer chrome-line, ugh, I don't!
