Possible ways of closing this fender gap?

So I went ahead and cut my fenders yesterday in spite of going to a widebidy kit in the next coming months. I cut the inner fender flush with the outer and realized I couldn't use rivet tabs or spot weld it. Any ideas?? Fender isn't done with sanding yet.
