can't believe i'm buying reps...........

I was over at Bavarian Exclusive today getting my tires dismounted off of my Volks to put on my stock wheels while I wait for my NEW WHEELS from Japan. (It'll be another month or so...)

So they asked me if I'd like to test fit a set of brand new wheels. I test fit them, asked them how much a set was, and I decided... ehh... why not???

Normally, I'd say no to these type of wheels but

1. I can't stand rolling on stock wheels
2. Best looking LM replica I've ever seen (They don't bubble out like some of the others out there)
3. They fit the same tire sizes
4. They actually fit a 135i!!! They are made specifically for the 135i, which kinda made me happy since I don't want to stretch tires, lower it, camber it, etc.
5. Low pressure cast. Strong and pretty light for a mesh wheel.

Excuse the JDM lug nuts, I'll be getting some regular lug nuts when I officially put these on tomorrow!!!

Wheel specs:
(I guess it seems a bit aggressive for some of you but it's a VERY conservative set up for me.. lol!)
18x8.5 ET45
18x9.5 ET48

Tire specs:
(I'll be reusing my same set of Hankook Ventus V12 tires that were on my Volks)
225/40/18
255/35/18

Can't wait to see how these turn out tomorrow!!!! Let me know what you guys think!!! And then it's on to the next one...

Thanks, I love the Diamond Black finish.

Why does it matter? lol

They are made in Taiwan just like Avant Garde, VMR, Miro, etc.. All I care is that they are low pressure cast not some gravity cast BS.

I was just wondering what kind of testing they have had. Like TUV or DOT. Some of the cheap stuff can fail. And you don't want a wheel failure at speed. German law is that a wheel must take a fairly good whack (and bend) before it can start to break/crack. That can't be siad of all wheels made today.

not even OEM lol.

I know how strict Germany is with their laws. That's why Hamann wheels are so damn expensive!!!

They will look too small on the car. The short spokes and fat rim will give the illusion of a smaller wheel. Generally wheels with spokes that go all the way to the edge will look larger.

I prefer more lip over more mesh look

CCWs use a 17 face and an 18 barrel.

Knowing this guy, you should have your money ready in 2 weeks to a month. I've never seen anybody go through rims faster than him!

Can't wait for tomorrow!!!
