Have since bought this kit and installed it in my E87. Sound difference is amazing for circa £200. Well worth it. Shame they're not installing something like this as default - the standard radio in my E90 was appauling. i had a better hifi in my mk1 fiesta when i was younger. They wouldn't make their ridiculous sums on the hifi option then though I guess. |

If you think about it, the hifi option isn't bad. On top of what you bought, you get the extra tweeters in the rear as well (normal cost about £80) so, for those of us who are handless, BMW are charging another £90 to fit it and since it's factory install, it is included in the three year warranty.
The fact that it's a disgrace that a car as expensive as this doesn't even include a set of tweeters in the standard spec, is another argument. |
