Many thanks Robbie99.

Have since bought this kit and installed it in my E87. Sound difference is amazing for circa £200. Well worth it. Shame they're not installing something like this as default - the standard radio in my E90 was appauling. i had a better hifi in my mk1 fiesta when i was younger.

They wouldn't make their ridiculous sums on the hifi option then though I guess.

Garage List
If you think about it, the hifi option isn't bad. On top of what you bought, you get the extra tweeters in the rear as well (normal cost about £80) so, for those of us who are handless, BMW are charging another £90 to fit it and since it's factory install, it is included in the three year warranty.

The fact that it's a disgrace that a car as expensive as this doesn't even include a set of tweeters in the standard spec, is another argument.
