Pedals vs Flaps
I saw pics of the E90 with mud flaps posted lately and I wasn't impressed. I decided to have my dealer change my order to have aluminum pedals installed instead of the MF's. Does anyone know the difference in installed pricing between these two options?

Hey! There's no way that the labour on the pedals would cost more.....in fact I'm sure you can do it yourself!

Yea seriously, just do the installs yourself.. both are simple DIY's (instructions are in the DIY forum). Save yourself some money and get the satisfaction that'll always come from knowing you self-installed.
Btw, both these parts have been self-installed by members on here. I think you can also find their writeups in the DIY forum. |

How will the aluminum pedals hold up to the dirt and grime that naturally collect on the soles of shoes and, more specifically, the snow and salt during the winter months for drivers living above I-80 in the US? The last thing I'd want to see are signs of rust or corrosion after 4 or 5 years.

Plus my deal was made based on what I did in the past (prior purchase), so if you can get the aluminum pedals instead I say go for it! |
