I used mmt octane booster in every tank of gas in the past (in my 87 900t) and it did turn the plugs orange but I don't recall them getting fouled in such a short period of time.
An 1987 900t SAAB to a 135 is an apples to oranges comparison.
there are too many differances to draw a conclusion.

Also the problems were only happening at High speeds when the A/F does go rich. I have not seen a dyno with Dinan A/F , but all the others stage 2 & 3 tunes seem to be rich at the top end.

Do you believe it's possible that the Sprintbooster affects A/F, especially when added on top of dinan tuning?

Not really, the sprint booster only affects the throttle. It gives you a heaver foot. The fact you drive with a heaver foot means you may be in higher boost with richer A/F more often, but the sprint booster doesn’t directly affect the A/F.

Look a Mdynamics post on this thread. It has what sprint booster claims to do and an independent white paper on the sprint booster.

There's no way the sprint booster does anything to A/F. All it's doing is reducing the overall resistance of the pedal position sensor. The car thinks your foot is closer to the floor than it actually is.

That's all it does? That's pretty lame.. I must have it mixed up with the "turbo tuner."

A faulty fuel pump messes up the plugs apparently. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=166417

Johnny, your plugs were probably messed up because of the faulty pump and bmw just saw the orange from the mmt and used that as an excuse to not cover it under warranty.
