Red Interior? Upgraded Stereo?
What is the opinion out there on the Red Leather Interior? i think it looks slick, but don't want it to appear femanine. i am interested to hear peoples thought....
the exterior color i am looking at is Monaco Blue..... Will the premium package be missed if I do not get this? What do people think of the UPGRADED sound system? THANKS.. |

red interior is very nice... I have not heard the premium HiFi, those that have it really like it, I have heard the stf hifi and thought it was very good for a std system.

I have alpine white and the coral red interior! And It's def.NOT Feminine at ALL!!! It's very Sporty and refined. Very race car like!!
I love it,and I got only positive feedback on it! One guy I work with did tell me that he thought it might get annoying after long. I don't think that's the case! Premium sound is off the chain!!! I'm glad I went with this option.. I do feel that it needs a bit more bass. But that's just my opinion. My E46 had 2 12's in the trunk, so.... I do miss the ghetto bass! But I am older now and decided not to go overboard with the sound like i did in the E46. In the future I do want to get just a Lil more bass out of the stock system.. I'm thinking adding a bass tube or maybe upgrading the stock subs under the seats I don't think that blue would be the best color with coral red I would go with lemon if your doing blue. Somewhere on this forum I remember someone calling the blue and Red combo " The Superman " Combo lol!!

That is the only thing, I am very undecided about the exterior color. I love WHITE, but am afraid it will be dirty too fast.
I am also thinking about black/non metalic....I don't like how they charge $475 for certain colors on a car that costs $46,000. Anyway, I do need to decide on the exterior color..... |

I have seen the red leather in person and it is not girly at all. I think only you can know if you will miss the Premium package - I myself think the lumbar support and thigh and hip bolster adjustments and Bluetooth are enough for me to want the package. Haven't heard the premium hi-fi.

FYI black is a lot harder to keep clean than white... I will NEVER have another black car again.

Monaco Blue and Coral Red may be a bit of an intense color combination. You don't want to look like the 2000 election map (especially living in Florida).
But Coral Red is a great interior color with a more neutral exterior paint, like one of the blacks or silvers, or white. (I have it with Sparkling Graphite & it doesn't look girlie. It adds a little bit of wow to an otherwise businesslike interior.)

I was a little nervous about it but have to tell you, it is just awesome with Titanium Silver. Couldn't be happier! I nearly went with Sapphire Black but life is too short for another Black car. Glad I chose Silver. I have since seen Cool Water Blue and it is one great color on this car.. won't work with red but if you go with black or grey leather, it would be very elegant.

I ordered my AW 135i on Saturday. I was planning on getting Coral, but I chickened out at the last minute. It just doesn't fit me. I'm not that bold, hip, or edgy.
I also thought really hard about CR+Black leather, but moved away for similar reasons. I also feel like Coral is a little too much of a good thing since these cars have backseats. I think terra might work well for me since it appears to be a good bit more subdued and somewhat understated, but I haven't seen it in person, so I don't know for sure. I'll probably stay with my current, perfectly safe, AW+Black leather.... |
