Can you spec chrome shadowline instead of black in the 135i?

Has anyone tried this? I prefer the chrome surround than the black.

Only if you don't get the sports package is my understanding. Believe me, I am in the same position as you, I prefer the chrome, but also wanted the sports seats. In the end, my cheapness and preference of the chrome had me order without the sports package, though I'd kill for just the darn seats. If only you could order just the seats and choose chrome or shadowline instead of packaging them all together.

But, on my invoice, it lists my options as "346 Chrome line exterior" so perhaps there is a way to do it where you order the sports package, but have them do that.

Its weird the 3 and 5 series forum guys are all trying to get the black shadow trim, because they don't like the chrome.

Get the sport package and post your black shadow trim in the classifieds section. Someone with chrome will trade with you in a second.

Personally I hate the chrome line, I think the shadow line gives it a much more sleeker look. I have chrome on my 04 e46 and I think it's ugly.
