how do i know if my battery is agm or not
hello 11 years later its time to change the battery of my e82
keep getting some battery warnings and some systems are off the i miss, like welcome lights, follow me home etc. i am going to change to a 95AH varta battery that its AGM, and code it with icarly my only doubt is if my factory battery is AGM or not any guesses? |

Interesting, i thought it said so specifically. Also pretty sure they all were from the factory, thus...
Either way, as I recall, it doesn't matter what you have now, just to code to what you put in. Is there a reason you need to know? Maybe I forgot. |

Well it says "Sealed battery-Do not open" That usually means AGM battery. And therefore, you should not have a vent hose hooked up to the battery.

OK in your top pic we can see most of BMW part number, 61 21 6 924. If the last 3 numbers are 023, you definitely have a BMW AGM battery. Google that part number.
