Why would they charge you for a full service when they are not providing one. I paid $150 for a service without an oil change (because I had already done it myself) when my service light came on.

They even told me I could wait if I wished whilst they did the service and I did. Took about 1.5 hours, so I suspect they may have updated the software as well.

If you think that's bad go and try read the document obtained under the Freedom of Information Act which outlines the Broadband Data Mining Plan that Labor plans to force upon the ISPs in order to keep track of our every move on the interwebs. Other than that, 90% of the offending document is censored. Apparently,displaying all the details of the plan would cause "unnecessary debate among the population." EXCUSE ME? We do live in a democracy don't we? Labor seems to think citizens voicing their disgust for their plans doesn't suit their idea of governing very well.

They'd rather make us cop a massive tax everytime we buy cars and booze. Which incidentally are two of my favourite things. I know what vote I'm casting on my first Federal election.

Well a friend of mine has asked me to help her vote since it's her first election. I said in no uncertain terms: "you are voting Liberal, aren't you?" and thankfully i got a yes. So we're both in the same electorate so we'll just cruise on in and i'll duplicated my voting forms.

Elee, you can use the dash to reset the service indicator.

Dackelone made a post a while ago showing how to reset (quite easy). If you search for "service reset" it'll be there. Sorry I can't link - posting from my iPhone

The luxury car tax is not what is responsible for the insane car prices (although it does contribute). The real reason is the protectionist racket that is trying to protect the australian car manufacturers.

If people were allowed to grey import cars (but still go through all those ridiculous ADR safety nanny state crap.. ie no reason except protectionism why this shouldn't happen), the price of cars in australia would plummet.
