Shredded Pieces of Rubber
Hi All,
I removed the under body panel to replace my water pump and found these pieces of rubber. I can't tell where it came from? I shredded my belt a while ago but thought I cleaned up all loose pieces of rubber and replaced it with OE continental belt. Could anyone tell me where it came from? Btw my car has been leaking power steering fluid, power steering has not been working, and the belt is squeaking idk if it's related to that or not. Any insight would be appreciated, thanks! |

That looks like pieces of the serpentine belt to me.

Ok, I'm hoping it's just some left over pieces from my incident back in Sept that just got loose and fell out, because my current belt is all in tact despite the squeal.
Thanks! |

Hope whatever shredded your first belt is not causing the second one to shred! Check!
