Can that same tracking / logistics site work for us west coasters? Wow the wait is killing me. Waiting around to hitch a ride since April 1. Feels like a fools day joke that won't go away!

The worst part is I am even considering a 335i coupe I am hurting so bad. The dealer offers at invoice and the 135i is at MSRP. But I'm sticking to my 1er - love the size.

If you know the name of the ship, then VesselTracker can probably do it for you. If not, there were a couple of other sites listed in the ship tracking sticky thread.

No. If you have your VIN, you can enter it on the Wallenius site in the Cargo Tracking area. If your car has been loaded on a ship, the VIN will pop up detailed info including the ship name.

update: port of hueneme now shows its arrival schedule for isolde and grus. it lists the isolde as carrying "wwl/pac". otoh, grus info shows bmw. it's hard to tell if isolde will be carrying bimmers too as not all previous ships carrying bimmers show "bmw".

edit: there's also a listing for a vessel called "alioth leader" carrying bimmers arriving 2 days after the grus. i have no idea where that's coming from.

Integrity leaves out on Monday the 14th. Independence II heads out on the 22nd. I hope I make the Integrity...don't wanna be sitting down at the port for another freakin' week. Plus, that would put me out of my delivery window of early May. I need to make my trip home in the new 1er, because I don't want to put the additional miles on my current car.

Still no sign of the west coast loading. Nice1 - do you have the arrival dates on the west coat port? Last I saw they were into May 9, but my dealer told me that he rarely sees it take more than 21 days from departure. So I'm hoping my dealer is right, which would hit right around the end of April, up to May 2 (better than May 9!)

i believe the isolde is scheduled to arrive 5/5 and the grus 5/8. there's another arrival at 5/10 but could not trace it to bremerhaven just yet. the ships are usually on time but i've seen other boats get to port +/- 2 days from other posts.

edit: the isolde left kinda late on the 11th. i only saw movement around the 12th. vin tracking shows in about a day. if nothing comes up, we may be on the grus.

I never thought I wld be sitting on a computer tracking a damn cargo ship but here I am checking a cpl times a day... When the ship gets updated to a new area I wikipedia it and learn some interesting facts about that place... I think I have finally lost my mind...I wish I cld just forget I ordered the 135 and just do the next cpl weeks in peace...it's not gonna happen though... I am addicted.

Oh here was todays fact: "
Bruges has, because of its port, a significant economic importance and is also home to the College of Europe."

It is sad, isn't it!

At least yours is on the move. Mine was built the day before yours, and it is still sitting at the port.

Have you checked your vin# in the cargo tracker? The stupid OC says I am still awaiting transport even though I am currently enjoying the beautiful view in Bruges... If your CA is cool and actually responds to your calls and emails (which mine apparently does not) then he is your best bet for the most up to date info. I was booked on my ship a week in advance of me finding out on the cargo tracker. My CA wld have been able to tell me that had he actually responded.

I keep seeing Bruges on the map and remembering the movie "In Bruges" which I saw a few weeks ago. It was a rather heartfelt story about two hit men who are sent there to chill after one of them kills a kid instead of his intended target. It was also pretty funny. Stars Colin Ferrell and Ralph Fiennes among others.
