btw, what does ETS and ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival?) means?

I looked it up but still don't know what it actually means:
ETS = Estimated Time of Sail
ETA = Estimated Time of Arrival

So ETS is when it set sail (leave Germany) and ETA is when it arrive at its destination (CA)? Sure seems like it, they're approx 3weeks apart.

Yep, not sure of the exact acronym meaning but ETS is shipping and ETA is arrival

Well, I'm pretty sure I'm with the right group with you guys. This is my first post as well. Just wanted to say it has been a pleasure reading all the knowledgeble posts and now I'm glad I finally registered. I'm waiting at the dock like most of you, so thank god I have this forum to quell the pain of waiting.

I'm with you rocketpop. My car made it to the port waiting assignment to a boat!

I just called the 800 number to check the status (see if my 135 has get on the boat yet), but then for the first time, the Auto Phone system transfer me to a human. The rep said she couldn't check he status of that car, the system "stop updating". What the heck does that mean? the OC site still say it's "awaiting transport". I hope nothing bad happen to it (like it fall into the ocean while being lift into the boat or something)... I probably just being paranoid, but does this happened to anyone here?

Looks like I made it onto the 28th Departing ship, The MAERSK WELKIN. Guess it's a Singapore ship, I hear they are anally clean and tidy, hopefully Car won't get damaged. Here's a picture of the ship

Sigh, I didn't get on that boat...
the next one won't be here until 4th June and won't get here until late June. which means no new car for me for the 4th July weekend.... This Sucks!

I just checked my status today...turns out, I'm En Route To Preparation Center! :headbang: WOO HOO!!
So I guess I would have my new car for the 4th July long weekend!

Looks to me like it's picking up VW Car's according to the map there's a VW Plant there. Hope it hurrys up and gets going
