Pic Request - 1'er on Eibach Pro Kit w/ 261M's and 225/255 MPSS

Hey Guys,

I'm going to throw in the Eibach Pro-Kit springs tomorrow, and I've got the summer shoes (261M's with MPSS 225/255) ready to go back on as well. Question is spacers... Will I be able to run a 12mm as planned, or am I going to have rubbing issues? I know the MPSS's are rather blocky, and run "wide", so I may not even run a spacer at all. Any thoughts, help, or pics would be great. Thanks everyone.

Almost sure you will have some rub in the rear. I have Bilstein B12s (has eibach pro kit springs) with 255 rears, running Bridgestone re760 which are narrower than MPSS. I got rubbing on the rear edge of the fender where it meets the bumper as well as on the fender liner when running 10mm spacers. 12mm will be even worse. I got the fenders rolled and camber in the rear to -2, and now almost no rub.

Front will be close, but should be *just* ok.

Thanks man, appreciate the reply. I'll keep you posted. Rear camber OE spec is what, -1.7?

Yea I think -1.9 or so. I actually got up to about -2.2 or -2.3 now that I think back....the biggest difference was by rolling the fenders, that got rid of most of the bad rubbing. The stupid fender liner is "loose" so I haven't found a nice way to "tie it back" so it won't rub. On the drivers side the tire has rubbed enough that it's worn through the liner in a couple of spots.....curiously the passenger side has no issue.

It's just a minor annoyance now more than anything, before the roll, the rubbing was quite bad as it was hitting the actual body.

Ok good luck. I recommend 10mm on the rear at most, but see how it is. Make sure to try driving through corners with dips/bumps to ensure you load up the suspension and take it through its full travel, that's how you will be able to tell if it's rubbing or not. You can also try chalking up or using crayon / similar on the fender liner and fenders, and see where it rubs off if there is rubbing.

I ended up not putting the spacers on, the hubs were incredibly rusty and rather than fight them on and off, I left them for now. My grinder/wire wheel died on me, so i'll tackle them at a later time. Love the stance on the Pro-Kit, from what I can see, the 12's SHOULD be ok, will post feedback once I've had the chance to clean up the hubs.

I'll try and snap some this weekend. Stance is nearly perfect IMO. I still haven't been able get the spacers on...as I need to clean-up the hubs with a grinder (too much corrosion to slip them on).
