GiroDisc rotors

I talked with GiroDisc about rotors for the front and rear of my 08 135i. They do not make them but if they had a group order of at least 10 people it could be done. $1600-1800 for a complete set front and rear with 50% down. Figured it might be a long shot but i'll throw it out here. I know they're not cheap for sure! I ran them on my STI and the quality was top notch! Any interest?

Details, and information? Which calipers would they be built for?

Is this for thermal reasons or lightweight both?

I guess I ask because in general the stock calipers will give you issues in track before rotors will.

Weight reduction was what i am after. I doubt my car will see a track more than a couple times if at all.

RB makes a dope full OE replacement set already that comes with 2 pc lightweight rotors front and rear. Something like 22lbs weight saving over stock ones, the kit includes SS brake lines fluid and pads for all 4 corners $1500 and change

All for lightweight rotors, but doesn't this kit require a special rear pad? Limiting pad options is not a good idea imo.

It does, well if you run a different pad it needs to be shaved.

So it's the rear pads an evo uses, so it should be pretty open to options.

Much better. Might be a valid option.

I'll probably go this route since Girodisc seems to be a pipe dream
