Fantastic report on Evo 1M long termer
In todays edition of Evo Magazine they have given the 1M a fantastic report. The car was that good the reporter asked if he could buy the car from BMW but couldnt afford the £40,000 asking price. He also said that there were 13 used examples on the BMW network and said they are keeping their value incredibly well.
Every mile appeared to harvest even more power from the engine, to the point that when we returned the 1M with 18,500 miles on the clock it felt outrageously fast. Bury the accelarator at 2000 rpm in third and at this point very few cars could keep up - not even supercars. To conclude they said - well, it's obvious really! We loved the 1M. Running it was a dream. It epitomises everything we celebrate at Evo and we'll miss it greatly |

If you have an iPad the digital version is fantastic. Lots of additional media, videos, etc. Plus the cost is a fraction of the hard copy. |

No surprise on his evaluation of the power.
In my experience the N54 takes about 25K miles to fully break in (at least mine did). In that time fuel economy and power seemed to increase as the car aged most noticeably from 5-15K miles then a much slower increase after that. Sucks that he couldnt afford the car though. |

Digital copy is great, especially receiving it so earlier than I could receive the hard copy. I don't have an iPad and it still works on my notebook perfectly.

Goddamn it. That's another 10 bucks I'll have to give to B&N this month.
