Epic Motorsports in Miami?

I sold my Cobb ap a while back, before the new tunes came out. I didn't like the way the car felt like it had and on/off switch for a gas pedal. It was twitchy and I lost the connected feeling I had with the car. That, and the fact that my HPFP took a crap a month after I installed the tune.

Anyway, I've been looking for a more mild tune option, and came across Epic Motorsports out of Miami. They sell a canned tune, and custom tunes. The canned tune claims 40hp and 80 lbft. The custom tunes show gains around 70whp.

Just curious if anyone has used Epic, and if they care to comment on the tunes.

You can also check out Velos Designwerks... i have their tune and have no complaints, car drives great and the power along with the supporting mods make the car quite the little rocket. My car is sleeper, most people have no idea what it can do until they go for a ride with me.

What type of tuning software do they use? ESS? Are they only custom tunes?

I recommend trying to find local N54 owners that have their custom tuning and see how it feels/how they like it. The N54 is a very tricky engine to get dialed in 100% and you want someone that is experienced with the N54 doing the tuning.
