Deposit down on an N55 135i!

Went to see a few cars yesterday and ended up putting a deposit down on this'un. Collect it next weekend!

2010 N55 135i in Lemans Blue with 73k miles.

I was a bit hesitant with the mileage but the service history is spot on and the spec is high. I'd driven two lower mile cars after this one and was surprised at feeling zero difference in terms of wear and tear or age related rattles.

It's had a recent clutch/flywheel, the electric water pump and stat were done a few thousand miles ago, and the money I've saved I'll whack into a comprehensive BMW warranty.

It has a couple of aftermarket bits

Lowered on Eibachs - stock bits included
Aftermarket brake discs
OEM chargepipe replaced with an aftermarket part
Black kidney grills (not shown in pics)

Spec as follows

S1CAA Selection Of COP Relevant Vehicles
S1CBA CO2 Package

Hey Sam... Welcome to the club. That is quite a list of equipment. I happened to notice, though, that there are two critically important items missing... the teapot tray and the scone warmer bin. Can you add those as aftermarket in the UK?

Cheers! -Mack

Or on the correct side - depending on what side of the pond you live on. Haha

Can't imagine driving from that side of the car, though.

July 2010 production date would mean MY (Model Year) 2011 in the United States. My 2011 6-speed was produced March of 2010.

You get used to it relatively quickly, the shifting follows shortly after. I've tried it a few times now. My biggest issue is hitting the wiper stalk instead of the turn signals.

My production date for my 2011 is April 27, 2010. Our cars are almost bros, but that's not the one you're keeping, right?

Driving all these years on the left side of the car and the right side of the road, I honestly think it'd feel strange, but I guess you can get used to anything... I guess.

It's really bizarre to be honest. First pulling out is strange as hell. Once moving you get used to it. Round about date ok,

All the UK 135i I've checked the spec for has this, so I assume it's standard on UK/EU models

I just wish we got the sunroof standard like you guys did. Majorly rare option over here!

For me the wierdest thing is shifting with my right hand, which is odd cos I'm right handed.

For the first couple of hours in a left hand drive car I find my pressing the clutch then thumping the door card with my left hand

Funny, some of us over here (like me) wish we didn't have the sunroof. Don't really use it and it's just more to go wrong. Wanna trade? We both have LeMans Blue. No, I guess that wouldn't work.
